We are sorry to keep you all waiting for so long. The last months we were still spending time to make the school to a successful and healthy place for our children. The construction work on GLOVO Academy at
the new site is still going on, we reached the highest level ever of volunteers who are joining our GLOVO family and the pupils spent the last weeks before vacation with writing their exams very succesfully. The GLOVO team hopes that all of you enjoy your summer and has much news to inform you about from the last months. Our vision is to put all our effort in brightening the future of needy children academically and we want you to be part of it.
Within the last months we had to say goodbye to some of our GLOVO volunteers but there were more volunteers we had to say AKWAABA. The last volunteer for this summer arrived a few days ago and we are very happy about 12 helping hands in school. Except for two of them, who are sent through AIESEC, all the others are sent through Kultur-Life. The duration of their stay ranges from six weeks up to six months. All of the volunteers are also sure that they grow while joining the GLOVO family through learning a lot about themselves. We are also looking forward to an enriching time with all the volunteers and we are doing our best to make their stay a memorable one.
We are proud that so many people from all over the world come to join and help us. If you also want to become part of this great program or know somebody who wants to spend their time with sharing great ideas and helping children in need on their way through basic education, you can get more information if you contact Kultur-Life (www.kultur-life.de) or take a look on our homepage (www.glovo.org).
Expansion of the GLOVO Academy:
As we already told you in the last newsletters, we are happy to have a new building containing two class rooms for Primary one and two of the GLOVO academy. The rooms are open for teaching and learning
Appreciation: We want to express our profound gratitude to our Canadian partners for the kind of support they had been rendering to children under our care. In the second quarter of this year they had supported the completion of the Washroom, Purchase a new Poly Tank and surprisingly starting a new building for the children home.
Glovo Germany will not be left out in this regards as they pull all their wings in Germany to support Glovo Ghana the mother organization. As part of this development Simon Ansel and Hillie led 14 students and two teaching staff to Ghana as part of the student exchange program. www.glovo.de

Further needs:As far as the number of our children increases steadily our school bus needs to be replaced. Sadly, we did not have the chance to buy a new school bus. To offer the boys and girls but also the volunteers a comfortable way to go to school, we depend on your help. With a small donation, each of us would be able to help a needy child to get to school safely. Please take a minute to think about this wish and help us to safe the situation.
